Empowering Young Girls to Engineer Their Futures

Our Story

Founded by Precious Thusi, Precious Minds, Engineered Futures was created to bridge the gap for young girls who lack mentorship and role models in engineering. The program connects schoolgirls with female engineers (“Big Sisters”) who provide guidance, motivation, and real-world exposure.

Our Mission

To empower young girls to pursue and excel in engineering and STEM careers through mentorship, education, and inspiration.

Our Vision

A future where female engineers are leaders, innovators, and changemakers in their communities.

Our Values

• Inspiration – Showing girls what is possible through real examples.
• Mentorship – Guiding young women along their academic and career journeys.
• Empowerment – Providing the tools and confidence to achieve success.
• Representation – Ensuring girls see themselves in the engineering field.
